30 teams of kids from all over Vermont will prepare delicious dishes using seasonal, local foods that can be easily prepared for school food service menus.

Judges include Mark Bove, Bove’s Restaurant (did you see him on Throwdown with Bobby Flay on the Food Network?) Melissa Pasanen, Free Press Correspondent, and co-author of Cooking with Shelburne Farms, Kathy O’Brien, Survivor: Marquesas contestant, and many others.

The emcee will be Sean Buchanan, Executive Chef of New Stowe Mountain Lodge.

There will be live music, raffles and give-aways, food vendors, a Farmers' Market, sugar-on-snow, and so much more! 
All are welcome, so bring a friend!

We are proud to announce two of our celebrity judges: Kathy Vavrick-O'Brien and Mark Bove!

Kathy finished third on CBS' "Survivor: Marquesas" series, and brings her love of food and competition to Jr. Iron Chef VT 2008!
